How to get divine knowledge and make your life happy

 Quote – “As long as there is company of the ignorant peoples, there will be no divine knowledge.”

“जब तक अज्ञानियों का संग रहेगा, तब तक दिव्य ज्ञान नहीं होगा।“

 

In the 20th verse of the second chapter of Shrimad Bhagwat, in the first canto, Sut ji said to the sages like Shaunak, renunciation of the company of worldly subjects, as the means of Bhagvatatvgyan, that -

 

चेत एतैरनाविद्धं स्थितं सत्त्वे प्रसीदति।

एवं प्रसन्नमनसो भगवद्भक्तियोगत:।

भगवतत्त्वविज्ञानं मुक्तसंगस्य जायते।।

Sut ji told Kaushik etc. sages that - when there will be no Rajogun and Tamogun in this mind, then Sattvagun will appear. When Sattva guna will manifest, then only there will be happiness in the mind. Devotion to God will happen only in a happy mind. When there will be Bhakti Yoga, only then there will be renunciation of painful things and persons, when there will be renunciation of painful things and persons, then only what is God, this Bhagavatavgyan will emerge.

That is, the man and woman who has renounced everything, only he gets self-knowledge and knowledge of God.

 

चेत एतैरनाविद्धं स्थितं सत्त्वे प्रसीदति।

When there are no Rajogun and Tamogun in the mind, only then there is Sattvagun. The mind which is situated in good qualities is always healthy and happy.

Rajoguna

When there is influence of Rajogun in the mind, then there is a desire to enjoy worldly subjects.

The desire for wealth, glory, success, etc. occurs only when this mind is obsessed with Rajoguna.

The desire for delicious food, the desire to always hear one's praise, all kinds of activities done to impress men and women are due to the mode of passion.

As long as the influence of Rajogun remains, there is no happiness in the mind. Worry, anxiety, instability, fickleness, etc. will remain in the mind.

Rajoguni men and women, even if they do religious work, they do not do it with the aim of God. They do religious works only to make themselves prestigious in the society.

Rajoguni men and women are only arrogant. In Rajoguni men and women, there is a tendency to show off to others. That's why their mind also remains restless.

Such Rajoguni women and men cannot have knowledge about God. Because, social company, family company is their only obstacle.

In such men and women, the ability to give up subjects is destroyed.

The religious conduct of such men and women is also unstable.

Tamoguna

Tamoguni women and men also like food, very dry, dry, prepared for many days. Indulgent, lustful, angry women associate with men, and they themselves are lustful, grumpy, greedy.

Men and women whose mind is influenced by Tamoguna, they are of evil nature. They are ruthless.

There are slanderers of God. They take pleasure only in making the devotees of God unhappy.

Such Tamoguni men and women also cannot have knowledge of the subject of God.

That is, those women and men who love the world, they do not even have the curiosity to know the essence of God.

चेत एतैरनाविद्धं

When this mind is devoid of Rajoguna and Tamoguna, that is, it becomes peaceful.

Sthitham sattve prasidati.

When Rajoguni and Tamoguni have given up food, Rajoguni and Tamoguni women have renounced the company of men, and worldly subjects will become disinterested, when worldly behavior will become insignificant, then only the Sattvagun becomes stable.

When this mind is situated in good qualities, then only happiness is stable.

Now see what is the result when this mind becomes happy by being situated in good qualities.

एवं प्रसन्नमनसो भगवद्भक्तियोगत:।

When the mind is happy in this way, then only devotion, faith, devotion and love towards God will awaken.

When exclusive faith, exclusive love for God awakens, then only it will be called Bhakti Yoga.

When faith and devotion towards God awakens, then there will be a desire to associate with the devotees of such virtuous God. With this company of devotees of the Lord, there will be strong love for the Lord. Only then these Rajoguni, Tamoguni women will be able to sacrifice men.

The world itself will start to seem impossible. Only satsang will be dear. No one else will be loved at all. Family relations will seem like obstacles. The talks of his worldly relatives will also seem meaningless.

When there is such disinterest, then a special fruit is attained.

भगवतत्त्वविज्ञानं मुक्तसंगस्य जायते।

When the company of such disinterested women and men will be missed. There will be no contemplation of worldly subjects. Even if someone gets progressed or someone gets destroyed, there will be happiness in the mind. There will not be even an iota of sorrow. Then in such a happy mind, there is knowledge of the essence of reality, of God.

The men and women who find worldly relations more important than God. More important than God, seems to be the behavior of the world, There is neither Sattvagun in their heart, nor the knowledge of Bhagavatattva.

This means that in this world, among thousands of millions of women and men, only a few men and women know about God. The number of men and women who talk about God is seen in lakhs, but the number of devoted devotees who are free from the company of worldly subjects, who are full of Bhagwattattva science is very less.

It is very difficult to recognize the learned devotees of God. If he is a knowledgeable devotee of God then only he will be able to recognize him.
